E-Commerce Store Evaluation

Your Store Gets Visitors. Why Aren't They Buying?

You've put time, money, and effort into building your online store.

Maybe people are visiting, but they're leaving without buying anything. Maybe you've redesigned the homepage, changed your product photos, or adjusted your prices more times than you can count.

And you're still wondering what's going wrong.

The frustrating part? Sometimes the problems are right there on your website, but they're difficult to recognize when you're the person who built it.

Let's take a closer look.

  • UX & Conversion Focus
  • Real Shopper Perspective
  • Clear, Actionable Recommendations

Our Approach

You Don't Need to Know the Technical Stuff. That's Our Job.

You know your products. You know your business.

But knowing how to run an online store and knowing how to evaluate a website are two different things.

You shouldn't have to become a web developer or software engineer to understand whether your customers are having a good experience.

That's where we come in.

We'll look at your store from the perspective of someone who's actually trying to shop there, examine the issues that could be making the experience harder than it needs to be, and explain our findings in language you can understand.

No overwhelming technical report full of terminology you're expected to decipher.

Just an honest evaluation of what we find and what you might want to address.

A clearer path to a stronger store.

Here's How It Works

  1. Sample desktop shopping experience with a lime evaluation check mark (fictional sample store 'Lume').

    We Shop Your Store

We explore your website like a customer would, using both desktop and mobile devices.

Can we find what we're looking for? Is the information clear? Does the shopping experience make sense?

  2. Sample evaluation panel listing friction observations with lime markers (fictional sample store).

    We Spot the Friction

We look for confusing navigation, presentation problems, usability issues, and other obstacles that could be making your store harder to use.

We also examine the publicly visible technical foundations that influence how your website functions and can be discovered online.

  3. Sample prioritized store evaluation report with lime checkmarks (fictional sample store).

    You Get a Clear Plan

You'll receive an organized report explaining what we found, why it matters, and what we recommend addressing first.

We'll include annotated screenshots where applicable so you can see the issues for yourself.

HOLIDAY SHOPPING SEASON

Getting Your Store Ready for the Holiday Shopping Season?

You're probably thinking about how to attract more customers to your store.

But here's something worth considering: what happens when those customers actually arrive?

Can they find your products? Is the shopping experience straightforward? Does your website give them the information they need to feel comfortable making a purchase?

Before investing more money into attracting visitors, it may be worth taking a closer look at what they're experiencing when they get there.

Our E-Commerce Store Evaluation helps identify potential obstacles and gives you a clearer picture of what may need attention.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

If you have a different question, feel free to reach out.

What will I receive?

You'll receive a digital report explaining the issues we identified, where they appear, why they matter, and what we recommend addressing first.

We include annotated screenshots where applicable and organize findings by priority so you're not left wondering where to begin.

How long does it take?

Our target turnaround is five business days, beginning the next business day after your checkout information is complete and the evaluation scope is confirmed.

If we need clarification before beginning, we'll contact you.

Do you implement the changes for me?

Implementation is not included in the $349 evaluation.

The purpose of this service is to give you an independent understanding of your store's current experience and a practical plan for improvement.

If you'd like help implementing the recommendations afterward, we can discuss that separately.

Do I need to know anything about website development?

Absolutely not.

You can tell us what's frustrating you about your store in your own words.

We'll handle the technical review and explain the findings in plain language.

Do you evaluate Shopify stores?

Yes. Shopify stores are a primary focus, but we can also evaluate other publicly accessible e-commerce websites.

If your store uses a different platform, let us know when you complete the checkout information.

What if my website is getting visitors but no sales?

That's one reason to request an evaluation.

We can examine publicly observable usability, presentation, and technical issues that may be contributing to a frustrating shopping experience.

However, the causes of low sales can also involve product demand, pricing, advertising, or audience targeting. Those factors cannot always be determined from a website evaluation alone.

Does this guarantee more sales?

No.

We'll tell you what we find and recommend improvements worth considering.

We cannot guarantee that making those changes will increase traffic, sales, conversion rates, or search rankings.

Will you need access to my Shopify account?

The standard evaluation focuses on publicly accessible parts of your store and does not require administrator credentials.

If additional information would materially improve the evaluation, we'll explain what's needed and request your permission separately.

You've Spent Enough Time Wondering.

Maybe your store needs a few targeted improvements.

Maybe there's a bigger problem with the shopping experience.

Or maybe your website is functioning reasonably well, and the challenges lie somewhere else.

Whatever we find, you deserve an honest explanation instead of another round of guessing.

Let's take a closer look at your store.
